Earlier today, American book-writer and film producer Stan Lee passed away at age 95, shocking many Klein Cain students. Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles confirmed Stan Lee’s death this morning. News spread quickly across the country as people found out one of their childhood heroes has passed away.
Marvel Studios posted a tribute to their creator on the Marvel Comics website.
Stan Lee Impact on Students
“I feel very sad because he was my bro, he was the best person ever,” Klein Cain student Madison Honeycutt said.
Popularly known as the editor and publisher of Marvel Comics, Lee helped produce dozens of comics and movies. As a result, Lee is credited with the creation of Marvel superheroes including Spider-Man, Black Panther, Thor, Iron Man, and more.
“He created movies that I will never forget,” Honeycutt said. “He just created characters that nobody else would create.”
As a result of his age, Lee’s previous year has been wrought in scandalous reports of elder abuse. A restraining order was granted against his previous business manager, Keya Morgan, earlier this year.
Ailing health has been a concern for Mr. Lee over the past several years, becoming more profound after the death of his wife, Joan B. Lee, in 2017. Therefore, the 95-year-old has had increased press coverage leading up to his passing.
As a result of his absence from the Marvel universe, expect to see new leadership as the mega-producer of Hollywood movies progresses forward. No word on what this will mean for the future of the Marvel empire. We know that the Klein Cain E-Sports club will be watching with great interest, as this will dictate the future of Marvel’s involvement in the gaming world.
