Football
Klein Cain’s football team is currently approaching the end of their regular season. Cain is currently, 8-1 and will play one more game against Tomball high school tonight, November 4th at Tomball ISD’s district stadium. After Klein Cain’s victory against Waller High School, they qualified for post-season playoffs.
Tennis
The tennis team ended their season with an impressive 9-2 record, and their win against Tomball high school gave them a ticket straight to the playoffs. They made it pretty far in the playoffs but were unfortunately eliminated by The Woodlands high school in the regional quarter-finals round in the playoffs. Despite the unfortunate loss the tennis team all around had a fantastic season.
Cross Country
Cross Country also had an outstanding season. The boy’s team had one athlete; Camden Gibson qualifies for the regional meet in Arlington. The girl’s team also qualified for the regional meet, and as a team placed third overall. During their regional meet, athletes Rebbeca Wylie, and Felicity Hamilton were able to qualify for the state meet. They will compete on Friday, November 4th in Round Rock.
Volleyball
The Volleyball team finished their season with a record of 12-22. Their season ended on October 25th against Tomball high school. Junior Kelly Pawelka achieved an impressive career stat of 1000 assists this season. She made 396 assists this year and 699 assists during her sophomore year. The team was ranked number 7 in their district by the end of their season.
